How to Measure Ring Size

Tips Before You Measure a Ring Finger
Always measure the finger at normal body temperature, as fingers can shrink or expand in different environments. If the knuckle is larger than the base of the finger, take two measurements and choose a size in between. This ensures the ring fits over the knuckle comfortably without being too loose.
How Do I Measure a Ring Finger?
Use a non-stretchy string about 6 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. Wrap it around the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters.
