Our Showrooms
Where is your Mayfair showroom located?
Our showroom is located at 14 Hanover Square, Mayfair, London W1S 1JL.
Do you have a Hatton Garden branch?
Our workshop remains in Hatton Garden where all jewellery is handcrafted in-house. However, viewings of diamonds and jewellery take place exclusively at our London Mayfair showroom.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday – Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 9am–5:30pm, by appointment only. You can book online or call us on +44(0) 20 3585 2295.
Viewing & Consultations
Can I arrange a viewing of the diamond before it is set in the jewellery?
Approximately 90% of the diamonds featured on our website are London-based and can be viewed at our Mayfair showroom. The remaining stones can be shipped overnight for examination at no obligation prior to setting.
Bespoke Services & Lead Times
Do you offer a bespoke service and if so how does this work?
Yes, we specialise in custom engagement rings and fine diamond jewellery. If you have a specific design in mind that isn't in our current inventory, please contact our team to discuss the possibilities.
What are your lead times?
Most bespoke creations take approximately 14–21 working days. If you have an urgent timeline, please contact us as we may be able to accommodate your deadline.
What is the deposit required to make an order?
A 50% deposit is required before we begin work on your ring.
Ring Sizing & Alterations
What if I order the wrong ring size?
Please visit our ring size chart page for detailed guidance on finding your size. Alternatively, you can select an average size (M or N) and your first resize is complimentary once the ring is received. A local jeweller can also assist with sizing — simply return the ring to us afterwards.
How long does a resize take?
Resizing takes approximately 3–5 working days from the date we receive your item.
Guarantee & Aftercare
Do you offer a guarantee?
We offer lifetime aftercare on all jewellery. If you experience any issues — such as a loose centre stone or a missing diamond on a band — simply return the piece to us and we will repair it free of charge.
Ordering & Production
How long does it take to make and ship an order when ordering online?
Standard items are dispatched within 2–3 working days. Customised or vintage pieces may require up to 14 working days.
Do you have a fast track service?
We can often accommodate shorter deadlines. Our best-selling designs in popular sizes can ship within 1–2 working days. Please contact us with details about the specific item and your deadline.
Can I place an order by telephone rather than online?
Absolutely. Many of our customers prefer to order by phone. Our highly trained customer service team are on hand to answer any questions and process your order. Please call us on +44(0) 20 3585 2295.
Payment & Finance
What payment methods can I use?
We accept credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express), debit card, bank transfer, and PayPal. All card payments are processed via an encrypted connection. Bank transfer details will be provided on your emailed invoice.
Do you offer any finance plans?
Yes. Buy Now, Pay Later options are available at checkout. We also offer PayPal Credit financing with a quick application process and instant decision.
Our Diamonds
Where do your diamonds come from?
We source diamonds globally from manufacturers who comply with UN Kimberley Process requirements. Our primary sources are Canada and India, with some African stones — all are conflict-free certified.
How are the diamonds sourced?
We procure our diamonds directly from the manufacturers who polish the stones, enabling us to offer competitive pricing without the typical retail mark-up.
Are you only selling natural or lab-grown diamonds?
Our website features 100% natural stones, but we also hold a substantial inventory of lab-grown diamonds. Please contact us if you are interested in lab-grown options.
Are Rêve Diamonds sourced using conflict-free sources?
Yes, absolutely. We are fully committed to conflict-free diamond sourcing, are registered with stopblooddiamonds.org, and have signed the Stop Blood Diamonds campaign. All of our invoices include a conflict-free declaration.
Why are your certified diamonds so much cheaper than the high street?
We source directly from global manufacturers at near-wholesale pricing. As a primarily online business, our lower overheads allow us to pass significant savings on to our customers while still offering certified, high-quality stones.
Your Purchase
What will I receive with my purchase?
Every order includes: a luxurious jewellery box, a diamond lab certificate (for stones 0.30ct and above), an insurance valuation certificate at RRP, and a diamond polishing cloth.
Delivery
Do I have to pay for delivery?
No. We offer worldwide free delivery on all orders.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International orders are shipped via FedEx and DHL. A tracking number will be emailed to you automatically upon dispatch.
How are orders delivered?
Your jewellery arrives in discreet packaging with no external markings indicating the contents. International shipments comply with local declaration-of-value regulations.
Are orders insured for delivery?
Yes. UK orders are dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery with full insurance coverage. Global orders via FedEx or DHL are also fully insured to the point of delivery.
VAT, Duties & Taxes
Do I have to pay VAT?
UK customers are charged 20% VAT on all orders. Non-UK customers ordering remotely are not charged UK VAT on exports, but may be subject to local import duties and taxes upon arrival in their country.
Can I claim back VAT?
No. Since 1 January 2021, post-Brexit regulations have eliminated the VAT Retail Export Scheme for purchases from Great Britain, meaning VAT refunds for tourists are no longer available.
When do I have to pay duties and taxes?
Your courier will contact you directly to arrange payment of any applicable duties and taxes. International recipients are responsible for all national fees once the shipment arrives. We can provide estimates on request. Payment must be completed within 30 days as part of our returns policy — failure to pay customs fees may result in non-delivery without a refund.
Returns & Insurance
Can I return my order?
Yes. We offer a 30-Day Free Returns Policy on all online purchases. A full refund is available within 30 days of the purchase date. Please note this applies to online orders only.
